Management provided new capex guidance of 21,000 to 22,000 crores for FY27 (transmission ~15,000 crores, smart metering ~3,900 crores, distribution ~2,350 crores) and projected FY28 capex at 22,000 to 25,000 crores during the Mar'26 Qtr. This follows the Dec'25 Qtr where FY26 guidance was lowered to 14,500-15,000 crores from the 17,000-18,000 crores guided in the Sep'25 Qtr due to project spillovers. FY27 capitalization is targeted at 14,000 to 15,000 crores, while distribution will see 1,500 to 2,000 crores added annually. [Status: Initiated]
