FY27 Capacity Additions Target Reaffirmed at 4.5 to 5.0 GW in Sep'26 Qtr Amid Transmission Deferred to Q4 FY27

In Sep'26 Qtr, management reported that greenfield capacity additions increased 24% year-on-year during the first half, supporting an operational capacity crossing 20.8 GW. Management reaffirmed the fiscal capacity addition guidance of 4.5 GW to 5.0 GW for FY27, initially guided in the Mar'26 Qtr concall and maintained in the Jun'26 Qtr. However, the evacuation certainty on the delayed Phase 3 transmission corridor is now deferred to the fourth quarter of FY27, compared to the third quarter previously guided. Looking ahead, the company targets reaching about 45 GW of renewable energy capacity by FY30, noting that all balance-of-system and infrastructure are being prepared in advance to deploy modules rapidly at 20 to 30 plus MW per day once transmission availability is secured.
