GE Shipping Takes Delivery of Kamsarmax Vessel Jag Amit via Internal Accruals On 4th Nov'26, The Great Eastern Shipping Company took delivery of the 2015-built Kamsarmax dry bulk carrier "Jag Amit" (~81,886 dwt), funded entirely via internal accruals. Post-delivery, the owned fleet stands at 41 vessels aggregating 3.33 mn dwt (25 tankers, 16 dry bulk carriers) with capacity utilization near 100%. GE Shipping also contracted to acquire a secondhand Kamsarmax and a secondhand VLGC in Q3 FY27, alongside a newbuilding Suezmax tanker scheduled for delivery in H2 FY29.

GE Shipping Contracts Secondhand Very Large Gas Carrier for Fleet Expansion The Great Eastern Shipping Company contracted to acquire a 2015-built secondhand Very Large Gas Carrier of ~82,000 cbm on 23rd Oct'26, with delivery expected in Q3 FY27. The acquisition will be funded entirely via internal accruals to expand fleet capacity. Currently, GE Shipping operates 40 vessels aggregating 3.24 mn dwt at near 100% capacity utilization.
